The work is devoted to the study of the foundations of human economy in order to clarify its purpose in God’s world. The researcher raises philosophical questions in his work, without answers to which, in his opinion economics appears to be a motley set of hypotheses and unproven theories. In the article, the author raises the following problematic issues: 1) If God created a beautiful world, then why is there a space in God’s absolutely good existence in which a person can create not only according to God’s will, but is able to act contrary to it, destroying the good? 2) Why does creation obey the will of man? 3) Does God need or desire the economic activity of people? 4) Whatare the main elements of the economy, and what changes are they subject to? 5) And finally, is it possible for a participant in economic activity — an entrepreneur, a clerk — to subsequently enter the Kingdom of God according to the Christian doctrine of the world and man? The purpose of the work is to study the laws that govern the human economy. The methodological basis of the work is the hermeneutic method of cognition, which allows to achieve the purpose of this study. The main source of knowledge in its writing is the biblical revelation, patristic tradition. This work consists of four parts, in which the author consistently explores the topic raised. The first part is devoted to identifying the spatial place in which it is available for a person to conduct economic activities. Of particular importance, according to the author, is the analysis of the first economic action in human history. The second part analyzes the main elements and resources of the economy. In the third part, attention is paid to the peculiarities of God’s influence on the economy. In the last part, the author tries to reveal the basic expectations of God from a personinvolved in economic activity. The work ends with a Conclusion in which the author summarizes the research. The results of the work, according to the author, contribute to the development of economics.
