Abstract

This article is a review of the 18th Losev Readings “Remember Your Teachers and Edifiers…” (To the 130th Anniversary of A. F. Losev) that took place on October 17–19, 2023, at the scientific library and memorial museum “Losev House”. The conference was divided into nine sessions concerning various aspects of the work of a Russian philosopher. The speakers considered such topics as: Losev and the heritage of Antiquity; Losev as a dialectician and theologist; Losev in the circle of Soviet and Émigré Philosophers; Losev’s philosophy of name; the poetic and aesthetic heritage of Losev; Losev’s historiosophical views, and others. The theme of “teacher-disciple” in the life and work of Losev became a leitmotif of the conference.
