Anthropolatry in the postmodern era, or about "Communion with God" by Archpriest Vyacheslav Rubsky

Abstract

This publication presents a critical review of Archpriest Vyacheslav Rubsky’s Internet lecture “Communion with God”, which contains a number of controversial theological statements. The article lists the main substantial statements of the lecturer and reveals the problematic points in each of them. At the end of the article, assumptions are made about the possible roots of such a worldview and the consequences of its spread.
