On the question of changing the ending of the dative singular of the masculine and neuter genders of full adjectives and participles in the old Russian Slavic monuments of church writing

Abstract

The article is devoted to observing modification of the endings Dative case singular masculine and neuter of full adjectives and participles in Church Slavonic text of Old Russian izvod. As is known, the ancient ending -ᲂумᲂу, -юмᲂу eventually changed to -омᲂу, -омᲂу. An attempt to define when exactly the new flexion finally supplanted the old one in Old Russian Church Slavonic written monuments es made in the article.
