Abstract

The Adventists’ concept of Jesus Christ has undergone quite significant changes from the time when this non-protestant denomination was created until the present time. But by now not all Adventists have moved away from their initial views, moreover, there is a tendency of returning to their origins, to anti-Trinitarian views. This article examines the peculiarities of the Seventh-day Adventist Christology as of the end of the 20th — beginning of the 21st centuries, in connection with their key concepts in the field of anthropology (teaching about man as a being consisting of flesh only), in the field of soteriology (teaching that limits the universality of Christ’s atoning sacrifice), in the field of eschatology (teaching about His high priestly ministry in the heavenly sanctuary).
