The publication is a translation from Serbian of the work «Rehabilitation of the Flesh» by the famous Serbian holy theologian and prolific Сhurch writer of the XX century — St. Nicholas (Velimirovitch), Bishop of Žiča (1880–1956). St. Nicholas in this work traces the theme of the relationship to the body and the fate of the soul and body after death in pre-Christian and non-Christian religions and teachings, as well as in the Old Testament and, finally, in Christianity, showing the exclusivity of Christian ideas about the value of the body in the light of Christ’s Resurrection and the coming General Resurrection and Eternal life.
