Abstract

The article focuses on the 19th treatise’s Syrian text belonging to the Sin. Syr. 24 manuscript. The introduction claims that there are some treatises in the Sinai manuscript which have not been covered by Greek interpretation. Also, the
article highlights the treatise’s textual features common with manuscripts of both western- Syrian and eastern- Syrian versions. Therefore, the above fact allows to speculate on a certain correlation between the mentioned manuscripts and the
Sinai copy. On the other hand, the appendix off ers the exegetic and comparative analysis of the 19th treatise in the version of eastern- Syrian edition. According to the analysis, not all the manuscripts of eastern- Syrian tradition include the treatise in question and, what is more, it has reached these days in a misrepresented manner. With this in mind, the treatise under review can be regarded as a dubious text attributed to Saint Isaac the Syrian.
